The American Dental Association recommends that a child's first dental visit be between the ages of 12 and 18 months. This way, the child can learn that getting teeth cleaned and fixed is not scary. Many children who start this early usually end up taking better care of their teeth and are much less anxious when they do need their teeth fixed. Prevention and education are key to a lifetime of healthy smiles.

Dr. Curtis recommends dental exams and cleanings every six months for children and adults. We take care of children's treatment ranging from cleanings and sealants to extractions and braces. We offer laughing gas to help those who are anxious. We also have TVs for the kids to watch while getting their work done.
